Virtual sports is a betting category that uses high-quality computer simulation to generate randomised sporting outcomes. Unlike traditional sports betting, which depends on real match schedules, virtual sports at ink789 run continuously 24 hours a day, 7 days a week — with a new event every 2 to 5 minutes depending on the sport. That means no waiting for Friday night EPL fixtures or a specific badminton season — everything is available at your fingertips, whenever you want.
The popularity of virtual sports among Malaysian players has grown rapidly in recent years. One of the main reasons is round-the-clock availability — many players who work during the day and want to unwind with some betting at night find virtual sports to be the perfect option, with no downtime at all. On top of that, the short duration of each "match" means you can fit in several betting sessions within half an hour — ideal for the busy Malaysian lifestyle.
This is the question most new players at ink789 ask. The answer is straightforward — all virtual sports outcomes are determined by a Random Number Generator (RNG) that has been certified by independent international auditing bodies. The RNG produces genuinely random results for every match — no predictable patterns, no manipulation, and no way for anyone to know the outcome before the match ends. This means every player at ink789 competes on a level playing field.
One thing that sets virtual sports apart from slots or regular casino games is that it mirrors the sports betting format most Malaysian players are already familiar with. You're still betting on 1X2, handicap, over/under, and the same markets you'd find in regular football betting. This makes it easy to pick up and enjoy for anyone who already has a feel for conventional Sports Betting.
Among all virtual sports options at ink789, virtual football remains the most popular — accounting for nearly 78% of all virtual sports bets placed on our platform. This comes as no surprise, given how deeply Malaysians follow football, from the Malaysia Super League to the EPL. Virtual football at ink789 features virtual leagues modelled after these popular competitions, with familiar team names and statistics drawn from real-world performance to determine each virtual team's relative strength.
What makes virtual football stand out from the real thing is the absence of weather conditions, player injuries, or outside pressure affecting the outcome. It runs entirely on statistical simulation — making it more predictable over the long run compared to real sports betting. Many experienced players at ink789 find that the same statistical analysis used in conventional Sports Betting can still be applied to virtual sports, with the right adjustments.
Long before virtual football existed, virtual horse racing and greyhound racing were already popular staples of the online betting industry. At ink789, both sports are still active with new races every 2 minutes. What sets virtual horse racing at ink789 apart is the wide range of markets available — not just picking the winner, but also place (top 3), exacta (first two horses in the correct order), quinella (first two horses in any order), and trifecta (first three horses in the correct order).
A trifecta bet on virtual horse racing at ink789 can deliver very high returns — up to 15x your original stake if you correctly predict the top three finishers in exact order. That makes it an exciting option for players chasing big rewards from a small stake. That said, trifecta odds are harder to hit, so it's a high-risk bet best suited to players who understand the trade-off between odds and probability.
To start betting on virtual sports at ink789, simply register an account, make a deposit using Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, Boost, ShopeePay, DuitNow, or FPX online banking such as Maybank2u or CIMB Clicks, then head to the Virtual Sports section and choose your sport. The minimum deposit is RM 10 and the minimum bet per match is RM 2 — making it accessible to players of all levels in Malaysia.
Ink789 also offers an accumulator (parlay) feature for virtual sports — you can combine multiple selections from different virtual matches into one combined bet to multiply your potential winnings. For example, combining three picks with odds of 1.85, 2.10 and 1.75 gives you combined odds of 6.78 — meaning a RM 50 bet could return nearly RM 340 if all three selections are correct. This is a hugely popular option among active virtual sports players at ink789.
All virtual sports at ink789 use an RNG that has been independently audited and certified, ensuring every result is genuine and random. Your personal data and transactions are protected by 256-bit SSL encryption. For more information, please refer to Privacy Policy our full offering.

Rather than spreading your bets across every virtual sport at once, pick the one you know best — football, for example — and master its markets first at ink789.
Because virtual sports never stop, it's easy to keep playing without noticing how much time has passed. Set a time limit and a spending limit before every session at ink789.
A 2- or 3-selection accumulator offers better odds without taking on too much risk. Avoid accumulators with more than 5 selections, as the probability of winning becomes very low.
Over/under markets in virtual football tend to be easier to predict than 1X2. Study the goal-scoring patterns in ink789's virtual sports statistics before placing your pick.
