If you have ever dreamed of winning a life-changing prize in an instant, progressive jackpots are exactly what you are looking for. At ink789, jackpots are not just one or two games — we have a multi-tiered jackpot system that gives every type of player a shot, from newcomers spinning at RM 2 to VIP players staking thousands per round.
Many players wonder: how do progressive jackpots actually work? Every time someone plays a jackpot-eligible game at ink789, a small portion of each bet — typically between 1% and 3% — is added to the jackpot pool. The pool keeps growing until one lucky player triggers the winning conditions and takes the entire amount. The counter then resets to its base value, and the cycle begins again.
This is a common question, and the answer is — yes, provided you understand how the system works. For most jackpots at ink789 that are triggered randomly, every spin has an equal chance of hitting the jackpot regardless of your bet size. This means a player betting RM 2 has the same odds as one betting RM 200 in a random jackpot draw.
That said, certain jackpots — particularly those tied to special symbols or specific bonus rounds — do allow higher bets to improve your chances of landing those symbols. ink789 clearly displays how to trigger each jackpot on the game info page, so you can make informed decisions rather than just leaving it to luck.
While jackpots are fundamentally games of chance, there are a few approaches that can help you get more enjoyment and value out of what you put in. First, understand the difference between hard-to-hit but high-value jackpots (like Mega Progressive) and smaller jackpots that pay out more frequently (like Rapid Jackpot or Mini Jackpot). If your goal is to win more often even if the prizes are smaller, focus on the Rapid and Mini Jackpots at ink789.
Second, make the most of the daily jackpot — the Daily Drop Jackpot at ink789 is guaranteed to pay out once before midnight every day. This means the closer you get to the end of the day, the fewer winners have been paid out that day, and the jackpot is still there waiting to be claimed. Many experienced ink789 players use this logic to plan when they play.
Throughout ink789's history, a number of life-changing jackpot wins have been recorded, transforming the lives of Malaysian players from all corners of the country. The largest jackpot win on record exceeded RM 1.5 million, claimed by a player from Kuala Lumpur on the Mega Fortune Progressive slot. Notably, the winning spin cost just RM 5 — proof that at ink789, luck has no minimum bet requirement.
Other notable jackpot wins include a player from Johor Bahru who won the Dragon Fortune Major worth RM 284,500, and a player from Penang who hit the Daily Drop Jackpot three times within the same month. All winnings were paid in full to the players' accounts within 24 hours and could be withdrawn to Touch 'n Go, GrabPay, DuitNow, or their preferred bank.
